In alignment with my core values, as a woman who built her career based on belief in UN Development Millennium Goals (UNMDGs) and UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), I found these collaborations transcend traditional boundaries, fostering positive change and uplifting communities. UNESCO Chair on Global Understanding for Sustainability
Title: IYGU Regional Action Center Coordinator, Tehran: 2017- 2019
“Global Understanding” is the guiding idea of the chair. This concept describes thinking that is organized around three core elements: thinking together of the local and global, the focus on everyday practices, and transdisciplinary.
As the IYGU Regional Action Center Tehran Coordinator, I played a pivotal role in addressing pressing social issues with potential global impact, aligned with the philosophy of global understanding. My responsibilities extended to identifying and analyzing key social challenges, strategically planning impactful programs and campaigns, successfully launching initiatives that aimed at fostering a sense of global awareness and cooperation and finally reporting to the chair office in Germany.
In addition to identifying these issues, I took charge of meticulously planning and executing programs and campaigns. This involved designing initiatives that not only raised awareness but also actively engaged communities in meaningful dialogue and action. Whether through educational programs, cultural exchanges, or community-driven projects, the goal was to promote a shared understanding of global challenges and collaborative solutions. I initiated two impactful campaigns during my tenure as the IYGU Regional Action Center Coordinator.
1: "Supporting Animals in the Cities" in Collaboration with Vafa Animal Shelter:
To address the welfare of urban animals, I spearheaded a campaign focused on supporting the well-being of animals within city boundaries. Partnering with Vafa Animal Shelter (where I worked there as a volunteer since 2014), renowned for its dedication to animal welfare, we aimed to raise awareness about the needs of our four-legged companions. The campaign sought not only financial support for the shelter but also encouraged community involvement through volunteerism and responsible pet ownership.

2: "No One Leaves Behind" – Empowering People with Disabilities in Collaborating with Zahra Nemati (OLY), an inspiring Iranian Paralympics Champion,
Our second campaign, "No One Leaves Behind," championed the active participation of individuals with disabilities in the community. Collaborating with Zahra Nemati, an inspiring Iranian Paralympics Champion, as our ambassador, we worked towards eliminating societal stigmas surrounding disabilities. The campaign aimed to create a more accessible and supportive environment, ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, could actively contribute to and thrive in their communities.

3- "Kish Women Local Home: Empowering Women, Supporting Local Businesses, and Saying No to Plastic in Kish Island" in Collaboration with NGO: "PLAN4 THE LAND":2021-2022
As the coordinator for Kish Local Home, a social responsibility initiative, I am actively involved in empowering local women through job opportunities, specifically in crafting reusable shopping bags. This project not only contributes to women's empowerment but also boosts local businesses in an area renowned for shopping. By advocating for the use of reusable bags, we are saying "no to plastic" and promoting sustainable practices on the island. My role involves not only coordinating the project but also engaging with sponsors to further our commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
